Big Brothers Big Sisters

BBBS has been serving Lake County and the Flathead Reservation for over thirty years as a mentoring organization. Mentoring has been proven to be one of the top intervention strategies for preventing school drop out and substance abuse. Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has been designated as a Best Practices youth support strategy.

Locally, we recruit high school mentors for elementary school partners in Ronan, Pablo, Polson and Hot Springs. This year, Linderman Elementary School had their first 2 BBBS matches.
This year for the first time in a decade, recruitment for adult Bigs is underway for Ronan Middle School, Pablo Elementary, and soon other local schools.

One hour a week is all it takes to be a Lunch or After School Buddy. That hour can make the crucial difference in the life of a child, as the studies and statistics have shown. What better way to give to your community.
