Bowl For Kids' Sake

Bowl For Kids Sake 2009 was a huge success thanks to all the bowlers, team captains and community business partners. The Board members, staff and BFKS Campaign Cabinet volunteers, Drew Sheely, Renee Loehr, Anthony Dentler and LInsay Dietz all pulled out the stops to make this the best Bowl For Kids' Sake ever. Special thanks to Catherine who set a record that will be hard to beat!

This year both venues together raised almost $18,000 ($17,891.00) while expenses stayed under $3,000.00

Bowl for Kids’ Sake, Big Brothers Big Sisters signature fundraising event, is a great way to have a good time and help kids. Be sure to bookmark the dates for next year, early March in Polson and early April in Ronan. Date to be announced.

Getting involved is easy. All you need to do is form a Bowl for Kids’ Sake team of five with your friends, family, coworkers, or neighbors. Team members use pledge sheets and/or online fundraising pages to raise donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Each bowler whose team raises $200, receives a t-shirt, an hour of bowling, shoe rental, pizza, beverages, and will be eligible for both lane prizes and prize packages for most pledges raised.

It has never been easier or more fun to raise money for local children.

Bowl For Kids Sake is not about bowling!

It is about giving children the opportunity to realize that they are valued and that they deserve a bright future full of promise. By participating in consistent and healthy relationships with a supportive Big Brother or Sister, children develop more positive attitudes and behaviors. For over a hundred years, BBBS America has set the standard for how mentoring is done to have a lasting and positive impact on the lives of children. T
